Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

soilint is a farm operations product of Augmentation Company. We provide account, workspace, map, messaging, and connected-service features so farms can manage land, people, and day-to-day work.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use soilint, we may process:

• Account data — name or display name, email address, authentication details (including when you sign in with Google), and session information.
• Farm workspace data — farm names, field outlines, crops, inventory, tasks, calendar items, notes, team membership and roles, and other records you or your teammates save.
• Location and map context — field boundaries and coordinates you draw or import, map search queries, and imagery or weather context tied to those locations.
• Connected services — tokens and identifiers needed to keep a connection working (for example Google Calendar refresh tokens, Telegram or phone-link status). We store only what is needed to operate the link you approve.
• Usage and device data — approximate logs such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error diagnostics that help us run and secure the service.
• Communications — messages you send to us (support, invites) and content you send through linked messaging channels that our systems are designed to process for your farm.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Create and secure your account and farm workspace
• Provide maps, records, alerts, messaging, and connected tools
• Invite teammates and apply the roles you configure
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and debug issues
• Communicate about access, security, and product changes
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information. Farm records stay under your workspace controls; teammates only see what their role allows.

4. Google account & Calendar

If you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates you and may share basic profile information (such as email) with us according to your Google settings and Google’s policies. Sign-in is separate from Calendar connect.

If you connect Google Calendar from Connections, we request the Google OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events (plus basic OpenID / email to identify the linked account). That scope lets soilint:

• Read calendar events so we can show relevant Google events alongside your farm schedule
• Create events for farm tasks, warabandi / canal-turn reminders, and related schedules you enable
• Update those synced events when you change times, titles, or details in soilint
• Delete synced events when you remove the related task or schedule, or when we clean up mappings after disconnect

We use this access only to operate calendar sync for your farm workspace. We request only the scopes needed for that feature.

Limited Use. soilint’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data; use it for advertising; or use it to train, improve, or develop generalized AI / ML models. We do not allow humans to read Google user data except with your consent, for security / compliance investigations, or where required by law — and then only as needed.

You can disconnect Google Calendar anytime from soilint Connections, or revoke access in your Google Account permissions. See sections 7 and 8 for what we store, delete, and how to request access or deletion.

5. Phone, SMS, and Telegram

If you link a phone number for iMessage / SMS, or link Telegram, we process the identifiers and verification codes needed to prove the link and to exchange farm-related messages you initiate or receive through that channel. Carrier and messaging platforms apply their own terms and privacy policies to message delivery.

6. When we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers that host, authenticate, email, map, weather, messaging, or similar infrastructure under contracts that limit use to providing the service (for example our cloud host and database). They process data only as needed to run soilint.
• Teammates you invite to a farm, according to their role. Farm owners and managers who can open Connections may see that Google Calendar is linked (for example the linked Google account email). They do not receive your Google password. Calendar event content is processed to sync schedules for that farm.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service

Google user data and transfers. If Augmentation Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will not transfer Google user data to a successor as part of that deal without your prior consent, except as otherwise allowed under Google’s API Services User Data Policy. Other (non-Google) account or farm data may transfer to a successor under appropriate protections, with notice when required.

7. Retention and security

We keep account and farm workspace data while you use soilint, and for longer when needed for security, legal, backup, or operational reasons. We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and encryption at rest for sensitive connection secrets where designed into the product. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Google Calendar specifically. While connected, we store: your Google account email; an encrypted refresh token; calendar id / scopes metadata; link status timestamps; and internal mappings between soilint records (tasks, canal turns, and similar) and Google event ids so we can update or delete the right events.

When you disconnect Google Calendar from Connections (or when we replace a link), we: revoke the refresh token with Google when possible; mark the link revoked in our systems so it can no longer be used; and clear stored event mappings for that link. We stop creating or updating Google events for that connection. Residual copies may briefly remain in encrypted backups until those backups rotate. Events already on your Google Calendar stay in Google unless you delete them there or we deleted a synced event as part of normal sync before disconnect.

8. Your choices and data requests

You can:

• Update account and farm information in the product
• Disconnect Google Calendar, Telegram, or phone links from Connections
• Revoke soilint in your Google Account permissions
• Ask a farm owner to change roles or remove teammate access

Access or deletion requests. To request a copy of personal data we hold about you, or to ask us to delete personal data (including Google connection records we control), email team@soilint.com from the address on your soilint account. Include “Privacy request” in the subject and tell us whether you want access, correction, or deletion. We will verify the request and respond within a reasonable time (and as required by applicable law). Some data may be retained where we must keep it for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy laws. Use the same contact email and we will honor those rights as required.

9. Children

soilint is built for farm businesses and adult operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the “Last updated” date on this page and, when changes are material, provide additional notice in the product or by email when appropriate.
