Terms of Service

1. Agreement

If you use soilint on behalf of a farm, company, or other organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of how the product operates.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (and in any case at least 16). You are responsible for activity under your account, including actions by teammates you invite.

Some features require a verified email address. We may refuse, suspend, or reclaim accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inactive.

3. Farms, roles, and content

Farm owners control workspace membership and roles. You retain rights to the farm records you submit. You grant Augmentation Company a limited license to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate soilint for you and your teammates.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload field outlines, photos, inventory data, and other materials, and that sharing them with teammates does not violate third-party rights or local law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights
• Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass security or role controls
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or reuse the product except as allowed by law
• Upload malware, or use messaging or AI features to harass, spam, or deceive
• Misrepresent satellite, weather, or other derived insights as certified lab results or regulatory filings

5. Connected services

Optional connections (such as Google Calendar, Telegram, or phone / SMS) are provided by third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services. You can disconnect them at any time. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or data handling by those providers beyond our own use of the access you grant us.

6. Field guidance is not a guarantee

soilint may show satellite layers, weather, water or spray windows, alerts, and assistant answers. These are decision-support tools based on available data and models. They are not a substitute for professional agronomy, licensed advice, soil tests, or on-field judgment. Always verify critical actions on the ground.

7. Intellectual property

soilint, including software, design, marks, and documentation, belongs to Augmentation Company or its licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the service, no license is granted. Do not remove branding or proprietary notices.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted access. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the product evolves. We may modify or discontinue parts of soilint with reasonable notice when practical.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, soilint is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that maps, forecasts, messaging delivery, or third-party connections will be accurate, complete, or continuous.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Augmentation Company and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for crop loss, yield loss, or business interruption arising from use of soilint. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for soilint in the three months before the claim or (b) USD 100, if you use a free plan.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using soilint at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Augmentation Company, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, subject to those mandatory protections.
